Dilemma melanda

Esok midterms Linguistic. First test untuk second semester. Memang tak ready sangat pun lah. Nak nangisssss T___T Lagipun, memang the whole semester feels so terrible sebab susah sangat kali ni belajar sorang-sorang, and then macam tak dapat focus dalam lecture. Banyak la jugak faktor-faktor luaran lain. Tapi nak menyesal nasi dah jadi bubur, kalau drop pun akan effect GPA kot sebab tarikh drop dah lepas. Nak tak nak kena hadapi kenyataan, esok buat yang terbaik je lah. Hope for the best!

How I spent my reading week:

• Friday, the 17th - We're having usrah at my house. Then, seniors from Missisauga came and sleepover here as all of us are leaving to Buffalo NY the next morning. It was a lovely evening spent together, watching HIMYM and Glee on the big screen projector (Kak Dot's) and at the same time panicking because I haven't packed anything yet. 

• Saturday, the 18th - leaving to Buffalo NY early at 9am in the morning, managed to board all-together 8 of us in the same bus (after facing some difficulties...well life as a traveller). Lucky to have not encounter any problems at the US border's and the day went smoothly as plan. We all decided to rent a car (a big one) because the hotel was quite far from the outlets and Niagara falls. 

• Sunday, the 19th - SHOPPING TIME. Spend quite a lot of money, but am satisfied. Also, I'm having a surprise birthday celebration at a pizza restaurant. Totally unexpected! Next, we're heading to Niagara falls, State's side and yeah, nothing much except for photoshoot and having good times with the ladies.

• Monday, the 20th - Heading back to Toronto by bus. Leaving Buffalo at approx 2.30pm and safely arrived around 5.30pm. Again, we encounter no difficulties at the borders. Alhamdulillah. Am planning to have dinner at Slice of New York, but it was close because it was Family Day here in Canada. Frustrated, we went all from the Salad King, to a new Japanese restaurant, but lastly ended up having dinner at Thai Evergreen. Such a great dinner!

• Tuesday, the 21st - Moi Birthday! Munie and Zakkeyyah was coming over to my home that morning. Had a wonderful celebration at Chinese restaurant for lunch, and then sushi for dinner. I'm crazy happy!! Thanks friends :)

• Wednesday, the 22nd - The only day where I get to spent a lovely day at home. Study a bit. Hehe

• Thursday, the 23rd - We were invited to come over Kak Afzan's house to make foods together. She cooks such tasty soto, and later we were making roti jala. Having much fun spending time with her son and the day went very fast.

• Friday, the 24th - Wawa was bringong over some lovely cuppy cakes. I'm loving it! Next, MASAT Appreciation lunch party at Mechanical Building. Nice food, nice companies. Great day!!

• Saturday, the 25th - It's today. Spent the day at home and tried to finish studying, so I can focus on the practice exercises for my midterms this coming Monday. Fail miserably :( Was having stomach-ache and am feeling not that great. 

• Sunday, the 26th - Last day of the vacation. *May be*  updated soon.

Dua Puluh Satu Tahun

Alhamdulillah, masih dipinjamkan nyawa dari Allah untuk menikmati hidup selama dua puluh satu tahun. Tahun ni, kali kedua sambut hari lahir di negara rantau, jauh dari keluarga tercinta. Namun, rasa sangat-sangat bersyukur dikurniakan rakan-rakan yang memahami, pemurah, dan sanggup melayan karenah diri ini hehe. Thank you so much. Jadi, nak catit segala kenangan sambut hari jadi kat sini, supaya menjadi kenangan indah kita bersama.

21ST February 2012: Enjoyed the lunch very much with great companies. I felt like we're a big family already. Thanks korang! :D

So far I had a very great birthday! Not to mention that last year I cried a lot during my birthday because.....I just miss home I guess. Ahhh, tak boleh stop terharu lagi ni. Sangat-sangat. Tapi, a little sad jugak this year sebab this might be the last time I celebrated my birthday with some of you guys (those who going to graduate soon). Y'all be missed! Fo sure T__T

First day at Hotel Ariston:

Hotel ni ada Internet. So banyak syok laaa. Tapi it is not free, though. It costs us like 5euro kot for two nights. Oklah, we thought that it was worth the money, so voila, adalah internet connection. Jadinya, bila dapat internet, perangai biasa muncul la, malas nak keluar jalan-jalan and stuff. Eventhough kami sampai awal kat hotel, around 3-pm, tapi sebab nya 'tragedi' di Milan tu, and also memang rasa restless sangat-sangat, we all decided to stay at the hotel for that night. Nasib baik makanan dah beli. Good plan!

Second day,

Malam tu dah rest puas-puas, so that morning, after complimentary breakfast (YAY INCLUDED) kami pun gerak pegi Venezia. Actually, kitorang macam salah book hotel, sebab it is better to stay at the island, so nak sight-seeing senang. Because from Mestre (our hotel's place) to Venezia (the island, tourist spot) took us about 15-30 minutes kot by bus. But whatever it is, dah sampai pun and travel takla menyusahkan or whatsoever.

We bought the day pass that cost around 16 euro for both bus an water-bus. Nampak macam mahal, tapi memang senang and puas hati. Travel kat Venice ni mostly atas air, so waterbus was a great choice. Antara attraction yang dah di-list kan by our travel agent Mr. Zaim are:

• St. Marks Basilica, Piazza San Marco, Doges Palace, Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge& Market, Arsenal.

We managed to go almost all kot, tapi dalam list ni ada miss satu tempat yang tersangatlah best, which is Murano Island. Kat situ ada glass-making souvenir yang famous. So memang our first stop pegi Murano Island, shopinng sikit (sikit je ok :P) and then inilah masanya nak taste Italian food. Sebab esoknya dah nak pegi Barcelona pulak, so ini last chance ni!!

After survey-survey, last-last dapat jugak jumpa satu cafe yang offer 3-course-meals for 18 euro kot. Tak sure la the exact harga. Actually ada kawan dah pesan cuba cari yang 15 euro, tapi memang tak jumpa lah pulak. The meals was fabulous!! Ada pasta, then fried seafood, and lastly fries. Kami tambah lagi satu dessert which costs around 4 euro. Mahal kot, tapi sebab sedap punya pasal Gelato kat situ, sanggup ni. Ala sekali-sekala kan :)

  

So, dah makan, dah shopping, memang puas hati. Sweet memories in Venice memang tak dapat nak lupa lah. If given the chance, I would really love to visit Venice again, but maybe this time with family and the love ones. Dah kata kota romantika :P hehe 

Life is like a movie

I dont know why, but every single day I kept thinking about that one thing. Always in my mind. Sesak minda. Hard to describe, and definitely not easy to hold on to. Kenapa ek? For sure there's a reason, but I just can't understand why. Too much drama is also not good, you know. Kadang-kadang rasa bila lah semuanya nak settle, have a clear pathway in front of me, and pooof, all problems gone. But that is just impossible. Mana ada perfect plans. Mustahil kan?

There's no reason for you not to smile :)

Kenapa?

Kenapa cerita Vanilla-Coklat ni best sangat? Muahaha. Seriously tengok all-together 8 episod dalam masa dua hari. Tu pun kalau tak sehari je boleh habiskan semua, tapi sebab sekolah and ada homework, so kita jangan tamak ye rakan-rakan. Then, bila dah habis masih tak rasa bosan nak ulang-ulang cerita tu sampai dah boleh hafal. 

Kenapa ye situasi dalam cerita tu macam....macam....macam best. Kalau lah jadi kat myself, tak tau lah nak cakap apakan. Haritu sembang-sembang, biasalah girl talks sikit, terus terfikir. Erm, what do you think of arranged marriage? So far memang mungkin my answer, terima je lah kot. Sebab memang takde calon pun kan hihi. Tapi depends gak. Macam-macam consideration yg nak dibuat. 

Ahhhh sudah. Hentikan cerita kahwin-kahwin ni. Lambat lagiiii kot. I baru nak masuk duapuluhsatu youuuu. Jauh lagi perjalanan hidup sebagai student, anak, dan juga 'wanita' bekerjaya. Nak jadi isteri tu memang taklaaa kot. So far. Hehe

10 Days till the big two one

Dulu kalau birthday mesti meriah semacam. Buat makan makan. Ada banyak hadiah. Banyak kawan datang. Ni masa umur 3-5 tahun la.

Lepas tu dah besar sikit makin kurang jemputan, tapi kek harus ada. Wajib. That's the peak point of my birthday la. Hadiah pulak? Kurang sikit, sebab quality lagi penting dari quantity hehehehe.

Sekolah menengah? Meriah dengan kawan-kawan. Havoc dengan ucapan. Hangat dengan pelukan. Miss those moments. Hmmm. Pastu family pasti datang celebrate sekali on weekends. Tak pernah setahun pun miss. Love them all.

College life? BEST SURPRISE EVER!!! Tak penah lupe my cry that day, sbb terharu sangat. And that year jugak sambut birthday sampai dua, tiga kali sebab sambut dengan kawan, lepas tu family pulak. Tiramisu Secret Recipe was my favorite back then.

That was my teens life. Last year, 2011 was my first year dalam lingkungan twenty's pulak. Nothing special, nothing extraordinary. Just shared the moments with best buddy around Toronto and family via skype. No more cakes or presents. I guess thats how adulthood begin.

Let see this coming 10 days. My 21st birthday on 21st Feb in 2012. Such lucky number 2 and 1 I hope :D

#MyProblemIs : I get super-duper jealous so easily. Like, it is actually not a big deal, but I take that seriously.

#MyProblemIs : Tend to misunderstood people's intention, let it be the good one, or bad one. Fragile heart I believe.

#MyProblemIs : Might be a bit selfish sometimes, like I weigh the positive effects on myself first, before others.

#MyProblemIs : It is so freaking hard for me to say NO to anybody. I also tend to 'beralah' in arguments, eventhough 10 minutes later, I immediately regrets what I'm doing. *sigh*

#MyProblemIs : Hard to control what I should "pendam" and "luah". Like sometimes, I think that I talk too much about something that I decided earlier which MUST be a secret between me myself. Tapi, sometimes jugak rasa penat dah pendam banyak-banyak, and bila others judging you, you really like crying em'all out :(
