Because of you
Because of you
I find it hard to trust
Not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you, I am afraid
I'm forced to fake
A smile, a laugh, every day of my life
My heart can't possibly break
When it wasn't even whole to start with
I find it hard to trust
Not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you, I am afraid
I'm forced to fake
A smile, a laugh, every day of my life
My heart can't possibly break
When it wasn't even whole to start with
To be ignored and ignoring
Just a random rant from me:
- feels like forever since we've talked
- i'm disappointed in you, but mostly in myself :(
- you seem to be a bit selfish, don't you think?
- considerate is the key. period.
- to fake a smile is the hardest thing to do right now. seriously :"(
- maybe it's just me. just me and my mixed emotion. as usual, you always right. never wrong. never.
I'm angry but confuse at the same time T_T |

Europe Trip Part 1
London, UK - Flight from Toronto sampai ke bumi London awal pagi. Mula-mula sampai London terkejut jugak sebab tak sangka weather agak sejuk, plus gloomy sepanjang hari. Mulut memang berasap-asap, but actually tak de lah sejuk sangat pun.
From Gatwick Airport to Mak Yong and Pak Yob's house is about 1 hour 15 mins. Tertidur kami dalam kereta sebab masih penat dari flight yang 7 jam itu. Tapi, sampai-sampai je rumah, terus makan-makan, letak beg, and contact sesiapa yang patut. And Emy, kawan Maryam ajak jumpa on that day jugak sebab esoknya dia nak balik.
So, kami pun terus keluar ke bandar, more accurately, Oxford Street sebab situ memang famous dengan shopping and sale. To make it even better, hari kami sampai ialah hari boxing day, which is an occasion people go out and spent their money like there's no tomorrow -.-'
Turns out, banyak jalan tutup, banyak line subway/metro/train yang not operating as usual sebab ada strike. London, London....time kami datang ni lah jugaknya nak ada strike bagai. Tapi takpe, kami tidak berputus asa [cewahhh], lalu tetap cari jalan macam mana nak keluar town. Akhirnya berjaya sampai, berjaya rembat coffee starbucks, and just a few sale items. Tak banyak sangat pun shopping. Ramai sangat orang plus ada tragedy pulak happened on that day. Ada youth kena stab kat that street, which makes some of the stores to be closed and police was all over the place.
And worst, central line kat London tu [tube-line] pulak only operate sampai 6pm, and kami terpaksa balik awal and rehat awal for first day in London. :)

The 'palace' |
Born in 1864, Béatrice was the daughter of the banker and major art collector Baron Alphonse de Rothschild. At 19 years old, she married Maurice Ephrussi, a Parisian banker originally from Russia who was a friend of her parents and 15 years her senior. The marriage quickly turned to disaster for Béatrice, as she caught a serious illness from Maurice which prevented her from having children. Maurice was a big gambler and in 1904 his debts amounted to more than 12 million gold francs, the equivalent of 30 million euros today. Worried about the future, the Rothschild family decided to take Maurice to court to demand a separation. They won the case and, in June 1904, after 21 years of marriage, Béatrice de Rothschild and Maurice Ephrussi were separated.
The following year, Béatrice’s father died and she inherited a vast fortune. It was at this time that she decided to build the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. She made this her winter residence from 1912 onwards and came here regularly for over ten years, during which she split her time between Paris, Monaco and Deauville.
In 1933, one year before her death, Béatrice bequeathed her Villa and all of her collections to the Académie des Beaux-Arts.
